Key Responsibilities

  • •Model and transform data with dbt using a staging → intermediate → marts architecture.
  • •Own data quality, reliability, and observability, including testing, monitoring, alerting, and code reviews.
  • •Maintain data catalog and governance so data stays discoverable, understood, trusted, and well-documented.
  • •Maintain and scale ingestion pipelines (Airbyte/Airflow), investigating and fixing pipelines to keep the platform running end-to-end.
  • •Build KPI dashboards in Metabase and partner with teams to define metrics, enabling self-serve analytics and decision-making.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering/Data Engineering with strong hands-on dbt expertise (modeling, testing, data quality, observability, governance) in production.
  • •Experience with ingestion and orchestration pipelines (Airflow, Airbyte or equivalents) and the ability to maintain, debug, and fix pipelines when they break.
  • •Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, ingestion, and scripting.
  • •A cross-functional mindset to translate stakeholder needs into KPIs and dashboards.
  • •Solid software engineering practices (versioning, code reviews, testing, CI/CD) with strong autonomy and end-to-end ownership.
