Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and diagnose equipment issues using available data.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment and maintaining corrective actions for failures.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; order parts and maintain daily electronic paperwork/documentation.
  • •Assist with setup and operation of equipment at shop and customer sites, help train lower-level technicians as needed, and support pick-up/delivery of equipment & parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable tools.
  • •Experience maintaining and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate a company vehicle.
  • •EPA 608 certification preferred (must be able to obtain within 6–12 months if not already certified).
