Job Summary

Maintain and repair construction equipment and vehicles, including trucks, trailers, batch plants, paving machines, bulldozers, and engines. Troubleshoot issues, dismantle devices to remove defective parts, perform preventative maintenance, and service systems such as electrical, hydraulic, diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, and drive trains. Order parts, keep purchase order and invoice records, operate a computer for job functions, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot problems and make economical, durable repairs.
•Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
•Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, shop equipment, and non-mobile equipment across the company.
•Service vehicles and equipment (oil changes, greasing, adding fluids, changing filters) and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
•Order parts and supplies; maintain purchase orders and invoices; operate computer systems for job functions.
