Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist Herd Technicians with routine animal care and basic veterinary procedures, including feeding, watering, and vaccinating.
  • •Perform farm sanitation and wash multiple areas using high-pressure equipment to support animal welfare.
  • •Assist with moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows at the work site.
  • •Process piglets, including injecting medications, castrating, docking tails, and ear notching.
  • •Maintain accurate production information and update department records while following SOPs, production manuals/training guides, and animal welfare, environmental, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
