Seeking a motivated AI Legal Specialist to own compliance workflows for AI/e-commerce platforms. You’ll manage contracts, DPAs and TIAs, maintain compliance docs, review product features for regulatory alignment, handle IP issues, and track evolving laws with guidance from our Ethics & Compliance Officer. This role blends legal expertise with AI-focused regulatory work in a fully remote team.

Key Responsibilities

•Own compliance with worldwide laws applicable to AI and e-commerce platforms.
•Maintain required compliance documentation (data protection, AI governance, consumer rights, and related laws) and EverAI’s AI systems inventory.
•Manage day-to-day compliance tasks (IP issues such as DMCA, contract reviews (NDAs, licenses), and updates to Terms of Service and Privacy Notices)
•Track and analyze regulatory developments and advise on their impact on EverAI products and processes
•Collaborate with the Ethics & Compliance Officer to ensure accurate, timely regulatory guidance and documentation

Key Requirements

•Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification)

•Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English
•Interest in AI
•Strong communication and collaboration skills; English fluency
