Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that improve associates' work and customer interactions.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including foundation model training, LLM inference, agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Leverage open source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, PyTorch) to build production-ready solutions.
  • •Invent and apply foundation model optimization techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput for production AI systems.
  • •Define and steer AI architecture and establish AI performance, safety, and transparency standards; mentor technical leaders across disciplines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 314,800 - 359,300 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering (or related) plus 10+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master's plus 8+ years.
  • •10+ years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience architecting AI platforms with tradeoffs around cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •Experience deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or equivalent private cloud).
  • •Experience developing and applying state-of-the-art optimization techniques for training and inference to improve hardware utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
