Job Summary

Lead engineering services supporting system safety and integrity across gas storage, transmission, and distribution assets. Provide technical review to ensure compliance with company standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements, and develop operating/maintenance standards. Oversee capital projects from design through construction, maintain system design and flow models for accurate gas measurement, and manage budgets and staffing for your functional area.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to divisional personnel across system safety, engineering design, regulation/measurement, project management, technical training, safety, and risk mitigation.
•Conduct technical reviews of projects, proposals, tools, reports, and equipment to ensure compliance with company standards, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
•Develop and maintain operating and maintenance standards to ensure public safety and regulatory compliance.
•Oversee capital projects through design and construction, including monitoring budgets, advising on capital budget development, and maintaining system designs and flow models for accurate gas measurement.
•Maintain staffing levels and select, develop, motivate, and evaluate assigned employees; serve as a culture champion supporting AtmoSpirit and wellness/safety initiatives.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and seven years of related experience (or equivalent).
•Licensed Professional Engineer certification required.
•Ability to communicate, persuade, and influence internal/external customers on procedures, codes, and technical information.
•Ability to perform algebraic/trigonometric/geometric operations and moderately complex statistical methods, and apply accounting methods for financial reporting.
•Advanced knowledge of software applications used to create documents, reports, and graphics.
