Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Business Development and Execution to establish project scope and scope alternatives that meet customer needs.
  • •Facilitate project planning sessions, develop unclassified estimates, risks, and schedules, and support go/no-go decisions with executives.
  • •Provide Class estimate development and risk register, schedule, and basis of estimates support; review Class estimates and provide feedback.
  • •Utilize PDRI to measure project scope definition completeness and maintain a project benchmarking database to track cost and schedule trends.
  • •Ensure designs and constructed assets comply with regulatory requirements and manage contingency/escalation modeling, portfolio prioritization, and scope/design change impact on EBITDA, reliability, and operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in an applicable discipline and a professional engineering designation eligible for registration in Texas.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in pipeline and oil or gas processing, including design, construction, and project management.
  • •Familiarity with labor, safety, and environmental regulations, and working knowledge of U.S. codes and standards for pipelines and hydrocarbon-processing facilities.
  • •Knowledge of AACE and PMI best practices in estimating and project management, including cost estimating systems, benchmarking tools, and risk modeling practices.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Project and ability to manage multiple assignments while coordinating diverse stakeholders and contractors.
