Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute hand calculations, spreadsheets, and MATLAB/Python first-order models to guide preliminary design decisions.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing or has obtained an MS or higher degree in engineering or applied physics focused on heat transfer and fluid dynamics.
  • •7+ years of experience in thermal analysis or thermo-physics analysis roles.
  • •Thermal FEA experience using STAR-CCM+, ANSYS, Icepak, or Flotherm.
  • •Familiarity with MATLAB or Python (or equivalent) for analytical modeling and data acquisition/post-processing.
  • •Experience performing test-model correlation and test-based characterization of critical modeling input parameters.
