Job Summary

Join a Retail Financial Center team as a Personal Banker I, using a consultative sales approach to identify customer and prospect financial needs. You’ll build customer profiles through Financial Needs Assessments, maintain product expertise across retail consumer and small business offerings, and use CAMP and approved marketing tools to schedule periodic reviews. The role also includes cross-selling, outside sales activities, risk-focused service, processing teller transactions, and working as platform staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions using the company value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out, set appointments, and support periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base and conduct outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Process teller transactions, participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, and follow retail policies and procedures while supporting risk management and customer experience.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to comfort with sales activities to acquire new households and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Develop a working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to use good judgment in making decisions.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment through NMLS.
