Job Summary

Design and analyze roadway projects in Georgia as part of AECOM’s Transportation team in Atlanta. Contribute to roadway design calculations, modeling, plan production, and quantities, while performing self-checks and resolving comments. Support Lead Engineers with technical analyses, apply GDOT standards, coordinate with multiple disciplines for integrated delivery, track tasks and effort, and proactively identify technical risks. Hybrid work option.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce roadway design calculations, models, plan sheets, quantities, and cost estimates
•Perform self-checks and resolve comments to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables
•Support Lead Engineers with technical analyses and design development
•Apply GDOT standards and requirements to assigned tasks
•Coordinate with other disciplines to support integrated project delivery

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,000 - 110,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related discipline and 2 years of related roadway project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Georgia PE License (or ability to obtain)
•5 years of experience designing roadway projects
•Experience designing Georgia roadway projects
•Demonstrated ability to apply GDOT standards and requirements to tasks
