Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, repair, refurbish, overhaul, assemble, test, and install designated electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and components.
  • •Perform equipment performance analyses, collect/record engineering data, and extract/compile/present systems data and logistics support information.
  • •Support preventive and corrective maintenance on FAA and interagency systems in accordance with local and FAA procedures.
  • •Complete installation-related work including adjustments, testing, and certification for equipment, modifications, and prototypes.
  • •Prepare FAA and interagency assets for shipment and enter daily time into DCRS; keep crew leads informed of assigned tasks and status.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses.
  • •Successful completion of a physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions (minimum 125 lbs, maximum 290 lbs).
  • •NACI Clearance—ability to obtain Public Trust.
  • •Estimated monthly travel required: 70%.
  • •A valid driver's license is required and must possess two forms of unexpired identification.
