Job Summary

Lead and execute steam turbine projects covering hardware and software engineering, including control design from SAMA/functional diagrams to Ovation. Prepare I/O lists and graphics, implement simulation logics for first-pass and process tie-back tests, and configure turbine special I/O modules. Support FAT/SAT activities with in-house Ovation server loading, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting, plus site commissioning and loop/device checks.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement controls from SAMA/functional diagrams and third-party DCS/PLC systems to Ovation.
•Prepare I/O lists from P&IDs and implement graphics from sketches/snapshots/P&IDs.
•Implement simulation logics for first-pass testing and process tie-back simulation, including DEH, protection, and auxiliaries.
•Create and maintain control documents (control description, ATS, SOE list, FAT/SAT procedures) and update Ovation internal point databases.
•Support FAT/SAT and field services including Ovation loading/upgrades, testing/troubleshooting, loop/device checks, and DCS commissioning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Power Engineering with at least 4 years of experience in the processing industry, preferably power plants.
•Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and the steam turbine/power plant process.
•Strong computer skills and ability to resolve basic technical matters.
•Good communication and interpersonal skills, with drive for results and willingness to work in a team.
•Willing to travel India and abroad.
