Key Responsibilities

  • •Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices for assigned categories.
  • •Forecast demand, evaluate capacity, and manage supply signals to adjust incoming material.
  • •Track high-risk components and supplier delivery performance, communicating with vendors and senior leadership to influence decisions.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs; create sourcing strategies for mechanical custom and COTS hardware and build a preferred supplier network to minimize cost and lead time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, production planning, supply chain management, or engineering, or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis.
  • •Experience with MRP/ERP systems and managing bill of materials, work orders, and purchase orders.
  • •Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
  • •Detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple projects and work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
