Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on bid strategies, vendor prequalification, bid evaluation and bid leveling, and chair/attend bid interviews and appointment processes.
  • •Develop and review project estimates, present estimates to clients, and provide value engineering recommendations and risk assessments; validate vendor costs.
  • •Establish cost reporting schedules, review and present cost reports and forecasts, maintain a commercial risk register, and host periodic meetings with the project team and vendors.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements, assessing change orders, and using dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures for contractual issues.
  • •Manage invoicing and post-contract accounting including post contract audits, account close outs, and post-contract reviews to produce lesson learned and training materials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •3–5+ years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or estimating within the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • •Solid understanding of construction methodologies, procurement routes, and value management/engineering principles.
  • •Progress toward or attainment of RICS (or similar professional accreditation) is a plus.
