Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and build backend services for the search engine using FastAPI/Django/Flask, Celery/RabbitMQ, and Postgres/Supabase.
  • •Contribute to AI-powered features with LangChain, RAG, embeddings, and multi-step AI agents, including evaluation and finetuning.
  • •Collaborate on search algorithm development, including re-ranking, embedding techniques, and fuzzy search.
  • •Lead technical initiatives in a startup environment, delivering high-impact projects with ownership.
  • •Work in person at the Foster City office and collaborate with a small, high-ownership team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Able to start fulltime immediately.
  • •Backend: Proficient in FastAPI/Django/Flask, Celery/RabbitMQ and Supabase/Postgres.
  • •AI: Proficiency in Langchain, RAG, embeddings, multi-step AI agents, AI agent evals & finetune.
  • •(Preferred) Search Algorithm Technology: Experience in search engine development, familiarity with re-ranking algorithms, embedding algorithms, fuzzy search, word2vec.
  • •(Preferred) Startup Experience: Experience leading significant projects in startup environments
