Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare social studies for children with unknown parentage referred from relevant external entities (within or outside Dubai) and assess health and psychological status, then produce reports.
  • •Contribute to preparing care and integration plans for children based on individual studies and implement them according to approved procedures and policies.
  • •Assess families willing to foster through interviews and field visits, document the social study, and submit recommendations to the direct supervisor.
  • •Coordinate with education and healthcare providers and financial benefits service providers (internally and with the Ministry of Community Development) to provide temporary accommodation and enable children.
  • •Support foster care governance by updating documentation for fostering, monitoring care in cases of illegal arrangements, coordinating with the foster family committee, and maintaining the case database and reporting on outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology (or equivalent).
  • •Fluency in both English and Arabic (speaking and writing).
  • •2–4 years of experience in the social field.
  • •Prepare and evaluate social studies and case reports for children with unknown parentage.
  • •Follow information security policies and ensure confidentiality of information.
