Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and ship production services, APIs, and (when needed) user-facing interfaces.
  • •Own the full production lifecycle including implementation, tests, code review, CI/CD, deployment, and maintenance.
  • •Build and operate production AI systems such as RAG, evaluation, fine-tuning, serving, and inference optimization.
  • •Architect AWS/GCP environments with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD for apps and model pipelines; partner on least-privilege IAM.
  • •Treat cloud and AI spend as an engineering constraint: visibility, attribution, budgets, reduction, and optimization of GPUs and inference routing.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software development, owning production systems (not only scripts or notebooks).
  • •Shipped backend services/APIs and production AI/ML systems (LLMs, RAG, serving).
  • •Strong Python plus at least one other stack (TypeScript/Node, Go, or Java).
  • •Experience with AWS or GCP using Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD.
  • •Proven work reducing or governing cloud/AI spend with clear communication of technical and cost tradeoffs.
