Job Summary

Lead integration architecture across multiple consumer banking technology and business platforms. You’ll guide and mentor a team of architects, develop enterprise architectural strategy for assigned platforms, and align solutions with business objectives. Partner with senior management, software engineers, and industry partners; provide technical direction and design feedback across principal architects and engineering leadership. Present architecture designs to an Architecture Review Board and help shape product and investment decisions through product/solution strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead a team of architects, providing guidance and thought leadership while allocating resources to deliver high-quality solutions.
•Develop enterprise architectural strategy for assigned company platforms, ensuring consistency and alignment across the portfolio.
•Communicate strategy to executive staff, industry partners, and customers to influence business strategy and decision-making.
•Provide consultation, technical direction, and design input to ensure consistent architectural approaches across principal architects and senior engineering leaders.
•Drive product and solution strategies that inform product requirements and investment decisions for company platforms.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
•15+ years of experience in web-development or solutions architecture delivering consumer-facing and internal solutions.
•Experience implementing large-scale technological enhancements and/or pivots with pilot implementation and analysis.
•Strong DevOps knowledge using Chef and Puppet techniques.
•Understanding of programming languages and frameworks (Angular/React/Vue; Python/Java/JavaScript/Ruby/Golang/C/C++), plus cloud, APIs, RDBMS/NoSQL, and cloud-native, highly available, resilient application design.
