Key Responsibilities

  • •Flies the assigned aircraft from one destination to another in accordance with schedules and flight plans, acting as the ultimate responsible for the aircraft during flights with priority on safety, efficiency, and passenger comfort.
  • •Ensures flights are conducted in accordance with the Airline's Operations Manual and regulations, implementing necessary procedures for safe operation.
  • •Ensures timely attendance, grooming, fitness and legality of self and Flight Crew; conducts pre-flight briefing to ensure crew understand flight details.
  • •Liaises with co-pilots and Dispatch Team prior to each flight to ensure crew readiness and provide required information (aircraft status, route, weather, fuel, weight, roles).
  • •Cooperates with Maintenance Engineers to confirm aircraft status; coordinates with MCC and MROs to address defects and implement corrective measures.

Key Requirements

  • •Appropriate ATPL License is a must.
  • •Must pass the technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots as per the Airline and respective civil aviation authority standards.
  • •Must pass the Medical Fitness check-up carried for the Pilots as per the Airline and respective civil aviation authority standards.
  • •Training in safety and emergency response is essential – a formal qualification is an advantage.
  • •Very good in written and verbal communication skills, English language (other local languages in country of employment are an advantage).
