Job Summary

Operate the asphalt plant on a daily basis to produce efficient, safe, high-quality output. Maintain production schedules, monitor asphalt operations to ensure quality mix, and use appropriate materials. Perform laboring duties, assist with plant repair and maintenance, and compile production and maintenance reports. Follow safety procedures using proper PPE and comply with OSHA/MSHA regulations, completing daily post inspections and risk assessments. This is a seasonal role with overtime during peak season, including potential night work.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor asphalt operation to ensure quality mix.
•Operate the plant according to the production schedule using appropriate materials.
•Perform laboring duties and assist with plant repair and maintenance.
•Compile reports regarding plant production and maintenance.
•Follow safe and professional work practices, including PPE use, daily post inspections, risk assessment forms, and OSHA/MSHA compliance; report accidents/incidents to supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Experience with basic mechanical maintenance.
•Strong communication and customer service skills.
•Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and follow verbal and written instructions.

•Valid Driver’s License and basic computer skills; high school graduate or equivalent (training provided as needed).
