Key Responsibilities

•Create geotechnical data reports, geotechnical interpretation reports, geotechnical design reports for tunnel and shaft construction.
•Create temporary support of excavation designs, reports, and drawings.
•Produce tunnel lining design documentation, including lateral earth pressure calculations.
•Perform ground settlement and construction impact analysis of subsurface structures (e.g., shafts, tunnels) and 3rd party infrastructure (e.g., buildings, utilities).
•Create and oversee the implementation of settlement monitoring plans.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology or related discipline.
•5+ years of tunnel inspection experience.
•Ability to travel up to 20% travel.
•Coursework in Geotechnical engineering (soils and rock) engineering, structural analysis, tunnel engineering, reinforced concrete, steel design.
•Basic understanding of geotechnical data reporting and design documentation.
