Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert technical input on blast and protection engineering; lead the design of blast protection provisions including CFD modelling and complex structural analyses.
  • •Oversee production and workload management for blast-related projects; develop work plans and ensure quality management and technical assurance.
  • •Engage with clients and sector leads; translate business practices into effective blast solutions and liaise with Building Engineering teams.
  • •Contribute to business development initiatives, including sales and work winning.
  • •Produce high-quality documentation such as employer’s requirements, specifications, feasibility studies, and concept designs; manage projects and contracts where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Broad technical knowledge of security with in-depth expertise in blast analysis and design.
  • •Expertise in blast modelling and CFD to capture blast wave-structure interaction.
  • •Proficiency with ANSYS, AutoDyn, or similar software for 3D finite element modelling and fluid-structure interaction.
  • •Strong understanding of physical security solutions and relevant performance standards; experience in threat reduction and structural analyses.
  • •Excellent documentation, project management and ability to obtain Security Clearance.
