Key Responsibilities

•Operate a vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes while observing all traffic and safety regulations.
•Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals; assist with loading and unloading using specialized equipment as needed.
•Maintain signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; deliver documentation when the route is complete.
•Facilitate routine service on trucks (e.g., checking oil, water, gasoline, and air) and report maintenance malfunctions to the Shipping Supervisor.

•Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time.
