Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely over required routes, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment; unload empty skids and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and perform routine truck checks and maintenance-related reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or a chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the vehicle’s weight.

  • •Must pass a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate the company vehicle.
  • •Able to remain focused in a busy environment and provide professional customer service at delivery points.
