Key Responsibilities

  • •Check delivery routes for the day, load and prepare your van so orders can be delivered efficiently to customers.
  • •Complete vehicle safety checks and maintain full road compliance and health and safety standards.
  • •Provide great customer service and be an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road.
  • •Help customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
  • •Support the shop team when not out on deliveries with general shopkeeping tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 14.31 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
  • •Great customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • •Strong time management skills to manage daily delivery routes and tasks.
  • •Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting crates and moving cages.
  • •IT literate and able to work independently with self-motivation and adaptability.
