Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and evolve the target data architecture for Allianz Suisse, driving migration from on-prem DWH to Databricks and cloud-native tooling.
  • •Own the strategic roadmap through sprint delivery, including planning and sequencing to ensure tangible outputs.
  • •Synchronize roadmaps across multiple teams, manage cross-team dependencies, and surface technical and delivery risks early.
  • •Build and maintain a shared product vision and roadmap with business-area Product Owners.
  • •Lead multiple teams, set role/decision boundaries, and resolve architectural trade-offs while acting as central contact across business units and senior management.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong knowledge of data warehouse (DWH) architecture, Databricks/lakehouse patterns, and ETL/ELT using SQL and Python to challenge design decisions.
  • •Hands-on production experience using AI tools for pipelines, code generation, or data quality (not just demos), with judgment on real value and risk.
  • •Proven experience steering multi-year, cross-functional programs and converting ambitious roadmaps into sequenced delivery.
  • •Ability to manage complex stakeholder landscapes, translating technical trade-offs into business language and aligning teams without constant escalation.
  • •Confident, polished German and English for cross-functional leadership and communication.
