Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide subject-matter technical support and leadership for structural engineering work across multi-site/phase due diligence through construction and operation.
  • •Collect and analyze project development data from physical site information, surveys, blueprints, GIS, geotechnical and hydrologic data to support design and construction.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/phasing plans while coordinating with owners and other disciplines/sub-consultants.
  • •Conduct complex investigations and inspections to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, and construction or operating permits.
  • •Lead larger-scale projects by overseeing budgets, supervising subcontractors/employees, ensuring QA/QC, mentoring staff, and communicating technical findings through reports/presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education engineering experience with prior structural or civil design experience.
  • •Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
  • •Highly proficient with structural engineering principles, practices, and design/build application to project work issues.
  • •Proficiency with structural/civil design software and technical tools (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, ANSYS, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS).
