Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee hazardous materials and hazardous waste operations, coordinating technicians and liaising with environmental engineers/administrators on regulatory implementation.
  • •Order, receive, log, verify, and reconcile hazardous materials using forms or online systems; track and manage inventory to reduce waste.
  • •Issue, deliver, and record chemicals to control points/points of use using manual entry or barcode scanning, and store materials per procedures including temperature/time-sensitive items.
  • •Prepare hazardous waste for disposal by sorting/classifying, containerizing/labeling, and preparing/verifying/certifying required manifests and land disposal notifications; perform limited sampling/testing for classification.
  • •Respond to spill events using appropriate PPE and vehicles/equipment, maintain regulatory records, and perform preventive maintenance on environmental systems.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous material.
  • •Experience operating a forklift and electric pallet jacks.

  • •Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
