Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical lead for environmental investigation and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor impacts.
  • •Prepare and perform technical review of Illinois EPA SRP/TACO regulatory deliverables including CSIs, RORs, RAPs, RACRs, and NFR documentation.
  • •Interpret and apply Illinois EPA TACO regulations and remediation objectives to develop remediation strategies and evaluate remedial technologies.
  • •Provide QA/QC review of technical reports, work plans, and regulatory correspondence, including direct interface with Illinois EPA reviewers.
  • •Support project managers with scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical approaches; mentor staff and lead technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field AND 10 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental consulting, remediation, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Including 2 years of leadership experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
  • •Expert knowledge of Illinois TACO regulations and risk-based remediation.
  • •Strong understanding of environmental investigation methodologies and remedial technologies.
  • •Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
