Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Transactional Credit Team, providing direction and capacity management to meet service expectations.
  • •Ensure effective execution of client limit and transactional credit requests in line with process, documentation standards and policy requirements.
  • •Maintain risk discipline across requests, ensuring controls are embedded, escalations are prompt, and exceptions are handled transparently.
  • •Own delivery and day-to-day oversight of the Associate Development Programme, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training and associate rotations.
  • •Monitor TCT/ADP workflow and outcomes, and use insights to improve execution, reduce friction, and strengthen control effectiveness.

Key Requirements

  • •Credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in commercial banking, preferably with knowledge of the Innovation Economy.
  • •Ability to coach and develop less experienced staff to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • •Proactively manage stakeholders and partners across Relationship Management, Debt Finance, Credit Risk and enabling functions.
  • •Manage resources to optimize process, throughput and outcomes while maintaining control standards.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex issues and align partners quickly.
