You’ll also support customer satisfaction by reconditioning vehicles such as engines, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to meet CarMax quality and safety standards.
•Collaborate with a skilled team to solve technical challenges quickly and effectively.
•Recondition vehicles including engines, brakes, steering, and suspension systems.
•Uphold CarMax’s commitment to customer satisfaction and trust.
•Follow CarMax Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements and keep the work area clean and orderly.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.7 - 41.94 hourly

Key Requirements

•Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems (based on role needs).
•Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
•Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
•Valid driver’s license and, where required by state/local law, maintain ASE certifications in relevant areas (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8).
