Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop design & construction’s vendor strategy across key delivery categories and global regions, ensuring coverage by geography, project type, specialty, security needs, scale, and past performance.
  • •Create and maintain a preferred vendor bench and identify opportunities to add new vendors to increase capacity, reduce risk, improve pricing, or access specialized capabilities.
  • •Establish repeatable pre-qualification and vendor evaluation criteria, and maintain a central record of qualifications, strengths, risks, and recommended use cases.
  • •Support RFP/SOW and commercial reviews for major vendor engagements, improving scope clarity and assessing scope gaps, assumptions, exclusions, staffing, commercial risk, and operational feasibility.
  • •Implement vendor performance management with scorecards, business reviews, escalation paths, KPIs, and feedback loops; track concentration and capacity risk and produce executive-ready materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction management, corporate real estate, owner’s representation, construction procurement, vendor management, commercial management, project controls, or a related field.
  • •Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle from design and preconstruction through procurement, construction, commissioning, closeout, and handover.
  • •Experience working with construction-related vendors including general contractors, construction managers, architects, engineers, specialty consultants, owner’s reps, and commissioning agents.
  • •Ability to evaluate vendor capabilities, project teams, scopes of work, proposals, and commercial structures using practical construction judgment.
  • •Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
