Job Summary

Lead Monzo’s UK earned consumer communications programme, identifying the highest-impact opportunities and building long-term strategies aligned to business priorities. Partner across Product, Marketing, Business and other teams to shape plans early and manage reputational considerations. Own earned storytelling across launches, original insights and reactive moments, using data, AI and audience insight to continuously improve how Monzo reaches audiences—while advising the European communications team as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and deliver Monzo’s UK earned consumer communications strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
•Partner cross-functionally to shape plans early, identify opportunities, understand stakeholder landscape, and manage reputational considerations.
•Lead earned communications around products, data, customer insights and business priorities through launches, original insight, reactive opportunities and integrated campaigns.
•Develop creative communications ideas internally and with agency partners, focusing on impact over budget or scale.
•Use data, AI and audience insight to uncover opportunities and evolve the communications approach; advise the European communications team as Monzo expands.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 98,600 - 108,000 annually
