Job Summary

Set up and run CNC and manual machining operations to produce precision machine parts for aerospace and defense products. Interpret blueprints and technical specifications, perform machining setups and adjustments, conduct inspections, and maintain quality and safety records, including SPC chart checks. Work 3rd shift (10pm–6am) with training on 1st shift for the first 3–6 months, while following EHS, Quality, and CI standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Produce machine parts by programming, assembling, and operating CNC or manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders)
•Interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans/specifications, and GD&T for operation and dimensional requirements
•Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal parts into sub-units or complete units using mechanical equipment
•Perform machining setups and adjustments, take measurements, and select appropriate machines and processes
•Conduct inspections of work produced and check SPC charts while maintaining quality and safety records

Key Requirements

•HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with at least 4 years of relevant experience
•Certification in the core discipline with 4–5 months of employment
•Certification on multiple programs labeled as moderate to difficult in complexity
•Minimum 4 years operating CNC machining centers
•Minimum proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
