Job Summary

Work on FPGA development within the Hardware Platform Group, delivering bug-free RTL across data-path and control-path designs. You’ll define, implement, and verify FPGA architectures; create detailed design specs and test plans; develop block-level RTL with synthesis and timing closure; and support lab bring-up, integration, and unit test validation. Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, software, diagnostics, and signal integrity teams.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement FPGAs, including participating in architecture definition, implementation, and verification phases.
•Develop detailed design specifications and test plans for FPGA functionality.
•Build and implement block-level RTL, perform synthesis, and achieve timing closure.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, diagnostics, and signal integrity groups.
•Support subsystem-level lab bring-up, integration, and unit test validation.

Key Requirements

•10–12 years of experience in FPGA designs with MTech/BTech in EE/EC domain.
•Experience with Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi FPGAs or proficiency in Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog.
•Hands-on experience with FPGA vendor tools including Vivado, Quartus, and Libero.
•Hands-on experience with Ethernet-based protocols and interfaces including PCIe, AXI, memory controllers, OTN, I2C, SPI, and UART; familiarity with UVM and VMM is a plus.
•Basic knowledge of Unix systems and scripting tools.
