Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform planned, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to repair and keep equipment and facilities running.
  • •Diagnose failures, replace defective components, and troubleshoot using standard equipment, drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
  • •Maintain and repair industrial mechanical systems and components such as hydraulic/pneumatic circuitry, mechanical drive transmission systems, and power distribution.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair electrical/instrumentation and control systems, including circuits, wiring, motors, panels, relays, circuit breakers, alarms, and communication systems.
  • •Follow preventive maintenance schedules, inspect repairs, maintain maintenance logs, and uphold OSHA-compliant safety and housekeeping practices.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Complete the Avery Dennison Operator to Maintenance Technician Training Program (60 weeks) and graduate to a rotating shift.
  • •Trade School Certification (or Associates) in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent journeyman-level training/experience (plus).
  • •Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn and cross-train.
  • •Be able to work overtime including short-notice requests, and lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
