Key Responsibilities

  • •Select and evaluate suppliers for new components based on technical requirements, quality, cost, reliability, and capability.
  • •Drive negotiations to contract closure, covering product pricing, non-recurring costs, development schedules, repair/overhaul agreements, tooling, and terms & conditions.
  • •Coordinate program requirements with internal stakeholders across engineering and production supply chain to enable smooth new product introductions from concept to delivery.
  • •Act as the primary point of contact with suppliers for NPI, communicating specifications, schedules, and expectations.
  • •Identify and pursue cost reduction opportunities (value engineering/alternative sourcing and design for manufacturing) and track supplier development and delivery status.
