Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate workers to ensure uninterrupted plant operations by overseeing setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery. Key Responsibilities

•Supervise and coordinate workers to ensure nonstop plant/location operation through setup, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
•Lead maintenance and repair activities across electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment.
•Test malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and assign mechanics for repair.
•Interpret company policies, safety regulations, specifications, blueprints, and job orders; assign duties accordingly.
•Implement preventative maintenance programs and schedules, order parts/tools for maintenance and special projects, and coordinate outside vendor maintenance services.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s degree or equivalent in training, education, or experience, plus at least 2 years of experience as a head mechanic (or equivalent combination).
•Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electric, and other types of malfunctions of machinery and equipment.
•Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions.
•Ability to train others.
•Knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic operations, including programmable controllers and their application in maintenance and repair.
