Key Responsibilities

•Lead the architectural design, development, and evolution of instrumentation systems and range infrastructure for complex test and evaluation systems.
•Define system requirements, specifications, and ICDs for new and upgraded range capabilities.
•Develop long-term architectural roadmaps and technology insertion plans for state-of-the-art range capabilities.
•Design and implement robust DAQ, processing, storage, and analysis pipelines for real-time and post-test data needs.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
•12+ years of progressive experience in instrumentation systems architecture, leadership, or complex range infrastructure development, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry.
•Demonstrated experience in systems architecture development for complex real-time systems.
•Strong understanding of data acquisition (DAQ) principles, telemetry systems (e.g., IRIG 106), RF systems, and various sensor technologies.
•Proficiency with system modeling tools (e.g., SysML, MATLAB/Simulink), CAD software, and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, C++).
