Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and integrate prplMesh components across Qualcomm, Broadcom, and MediaTek-based SoCs.
  • •Apply AI-centric design practices to WiFi software development and implement the resulting engineering workflow (Prompt → Context → Harness).
  • •Partner with hardware teams to validate radio performance and mesh stability, and work with mesh APIs and WiFi drivers.
  • •Implement configuration and telemetry reporting through the App and Web GUI interfaces for connected home products.
  • •Conduct functional and performance testing, drive bug fixes, support customer escalations, and provide technical leadership across the networking and control panel stack.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in embedded Linux development using C/C++, Shell, Python, or Lua.
  • •Experience with Qualcomm, Broadcom, or MediaTek QSDK and OpenWrt or Yocto-based systems.
  • •Strong wireless networking knowledge, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be, mesh networking, and QoS.
  • •Solid understanding of Linux kernel and user-space interactions, including networking fundamentals (bridging, Ethernet, VLAN, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, NAT, DNS, routing).
  • •Working knowledge of firewalling and traffic shaping (iptables/nftables).
