Provide local technical design and CADD support on projects across planning, transportation, and infrastructure lines. Generate accurate design deliverables, collaborate with engineers, ensure compliance with design standards, and support cross-functional project execution on basic to moderate scope.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the work site, surveys, blueprints, diagrams, and other sources to support drafting and design activities.
•Under minimal supervision, use 3D CAD software and work with engineers to resolve design details and prepare precise drawings for basic projects.
•Provide routine design assistance ensuring proper illustration, fit, form, and function using GD&T and quantity calculations.
•Assist with verifying calculations and interpretations of contract plans and specifications, escalating issues as needed.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work and ensure compliance with codes and contract requirements.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma.
•Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-education experience in the discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.
•Highly familiar with drafting and design support principles, practices, processes, methods and techniques.
•Highly familiar with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.
