Job Summary

Implement, configure, administer, and support enterprise monitoring, observability, and performance management platforms to keep critical applications, infrastructure, cloud services, and network technologies reliable. Hands-on work includes Datadog and Tripwire, APM, infrastructure monitoring, log management, distributed tracing, alerting, dashboards, and reporting. Partner cross-functionally to onboard technologies, troubleshoot complex issues with root-cause analysis, maintain runbooks, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.

•Configure and maintain APM, infrastructure monitoring, log management, distributed tracing, alerting, dashboards, and reporting.
•Onboard applications, infrastructure, cloud services, middleware platforms, and network technologies into enterprise monitoring solutions.
•Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, cloud, and network issues and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability.
•Support production operations through a 24x7 on-call rotation, incident response, and after-hours maintenance, including maintaining documentation and runbooks.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience.
•7+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, monitoring, observability, performance engineering, or related technical disciplines.
•Hands-on experience designing, implementing, configuring, administering, and supporting enterprise monitoring and observability platforms, including Datadog and Tripwire.
•Experience onboarding applications, infrastructure, cloud services, middleware, and network technologies into monitoring solutions, including APM, infrastructure monitoring, distributed tracing, log management, alerting, and dashboards.
•Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across infrastructure, applications, middleware, cloud platforms, and networks.
