Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Load/unload goods and materials using specialized equipment; assist with loading and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery documentation (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and perform routine checks (oil, water, gasoline, air), reporting maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a valid commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal/state DOT regulations and contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen.
  • •Pass a DOT physical; trucks driven are over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
  • •Able to meet physical requirements, including prolonged sitting and lifting/moving up to 40 pounds.
