Job Summary

Support Elastic’s global finance function as a Senior FP&A Analyst on the India finance team. Partner with business and functional leaders to deliver real-time dashboards, management reporting, business scorecards, financial models, and variance commentary. Own forecasting and budgeting (rolling forecasts, annual budgets, monthly budget-vs-actual) using Pigment, and drive month/quarter close activities. Lead FP&A process re-engineering with AI tools and Excel while ensuring accurate reconciliation across Adaptive, Pigment, Workday, and NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a trusted finance partner to business and functional leaders, providing timely reporting, dashboards, visibility into operational spend, and handling financial analytics/ad-hoc requests.
•Deliver management reporting packages, business scorecards, and financial models for senior leadership; build and maintain real-time dashboards using Tableau, Sigma, or similar tools.
•Support rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, and monthly budget-vs-actual analysis using Pigment, including KPI monitoring and clear variance commentary.
•Own month-end and quarter-end close activities, including expense accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, and supporting schedules.
•Lead re-engineering of FP&A processes using AI tools and Excel; propose and implement new tools, drive automation adoption, upskill teams, and ensure accurate reconciliation across Adaptive, Pigment, Workday, and NetSuite.

Key Requirements

•5–8 years in a finance function with exposure to business transformation, process re-engineering, or finance automation; CA/MBA/CMA preferred.
•Hands-on experience using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in a finance workflow.
•Experience with Pigment, Adaptive, or NetSuite is a plus.
•Comfort spotting manual, repetitive processes and proposing smarter alternatives.
•Strong collaboration and communication skills across global teams and time zones.
