Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary support for LMR Zone Core equipment, including servers, network switches, routers, workstations, and storage devices.
  • •Manage planned maintenance and patching activities, including coordinating necessary reboots and backup transmission/receipt between critical servers and BAR servers.
  • •Provide daily first-level troubleshooting and case management, including tracking reports, following up, and documenting cases for sustainment reporting.
  • •Deliver specialized technical assistance across the Motorola ASTRO 25 LMR system, including ASTRO 25/Project 25 technologies, AES encryption, OTAR operations, and related console/radio capabilities.
  • •Assist with system integrations/modifications, support remote site work, validate hardware changes, and provide administrative reporting for contracts as requested.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma.
  • •4+ years experience as a Systems Technician, Field Technician, Network Engineer, System Manager, or similar technical experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain required security clearance for the government contract.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; requires completing SF-86 and obtaining CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) within the first 6 months.
  • •Valid driver’s license without traffic violations and ability to pass CJIS fingerprint background check for high-security areas.
