Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Handle minor adjustments and repairs across multiple systems (electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).
  • •Independently manage parts inventory on a company service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work according to company standards (photos, parts used, findings on Repair Orders) and complete DOT and other required forms accurately and timely.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED with up to 2 years of related experience.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary for the role.
  • •Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.
  • •OEM training and certifications are preferred; participate in and complete required company training.
  • •Be able to complete DOT-regulated background screening and DOT physical; hold a current valid DOT medical card with sufficient remaining validity; at least 21 years old; valid driver’s license required.
