Job Summary

Work in a Dow processing plant in Delfzijl, where you help operate and support distillation processes by combining indoor and outdoor tasks. You’ll follow safety and quality procedures, monitor process and equipment conditions, respond to deviations, and perform first-line maintenance and small repairs with the team. You’ll also contribute to process improvements focused on safety and environmental performance while learning in a 5-shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow plant policies and procedures to ensure safe operations and achieve production goals within quality and safety standards.
•Monitor and evaluate process execution and equipment conditions; respond to disruptions with the right actions for safety, environment, and quality using modern systems for work and reporting.
•Carry out first-line maintenance, including small repairs, together with the shift team.
•Use your process knowledge and skills to propose and support process improvements focused on safety and environmental impact.
•Work with the shift team to perform diverse tasks and maintain open communication and safety as priorities.

Key Requirements

•Currently enrolled in an MBO program (level 3 or 4) in process technology / algemeen operationeel technicus (AOT).
•Follow policies and procedures to ensure safe factory operations and meet production targets within quality and safety standards.
•Monitor and evaluate process execution and equipment conditions, taking appropriate actions regarding safety, environment, and quality when disruptions occur.
•Perform first-line maintenance, including small repairs in collaboration with the shift team.
•Be willing to work in a 5-shift schedule and follow applicable training to perform the role.
