Job Summary

Act as primary fund accountant for multiple hedge fund, private equity, and closed-end registered product relationships. Calculate net asset values (NAVs), reconcile bank and portfolio activity, and maintain investor contribution/withdrawal records in partnership accounting systems. Prepare quarterly financial packages plus audit and tax schedules, coordinate fund expense analysis, and produce capital call/distribution notices and partner capital statements aligned with GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

•Calculate net asset value (NAV) figures and disseminate financial and performance information to the investment advisor and investors.
•Act as primary fund accountant for multiple funds/client relationships, ensuring fund accounting functions comply with GAAP.
•Record trade information and income/expense activity, apply valuation of securities, and reconcile bank activity.
•Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals and prepare capital call, distribution notices, and partner capital statements.
•Prepare fund quarterly financial packages, including audit and tax schedules; coordinate fund expense analysis and expense processing.

•18 months to 3 years of relevant experience.
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
