Job Summary

Lead engineering sustainment for Multi-Spectral Target Systems (MTS), overseeing electrical, mechanical, and reliability activities that support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and performance verification across multiple programs. Coordinate daily priorities in a high-tempo environment, drive cycle time, cost, and reliability improvements, mentor engineers, and support proposals via Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Estimates at Complete. Ensure hardware assets are available to support software development schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical oversight and leadership for assembly and testing of Raytheon-built hardware across multiple programs.
•Prioritize and coordinate sustaining engineering work for Electrical, Mechanical, and Reliability Engineers to meet daily operational and program needs.
•Lead cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in cycle time, cost reduction, and product reliability.
•Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for hardware issues, implementing corrective actions and driving design/process improvements.
•Support onboarding/training for new engineers and provide proposal support through Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Estimates at Complete.

Key Requirements

•STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience with MTS EO/IR systems in development, production, and/or sustainment environments.
•Experience leading cross-discipline teams and managing competing priorities across multiple programs.
•Ability to obtain an active Secret U.S. government security clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
•Provide technical oversight and coordinate sustaining engineering functions (Electrical, Mechanical, and Reliability Engineers) for daily operational needs.
